Man shot dead in Gurgaon


Gurgaon, May 5 (IANS): A 24-year-old man, working as a sample collector at a private lab here, was shot dead by unidentified persons on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The victim, Pankaj Kumar, hailed from Basti district in Uttar Pradesh and lived in Chakkarpur area in Gurgaon. He was working with a private lab in Udyog Vihar area.

"Kumar had gone to DLF-2 area at a diagnostic lab to collect the samples on bike, he was shot in his chest," a senior police officer said.

He was rushed to a nearby private hospital but was declared brought dead.
