Kundapur, Mar 23: The people of the taluk under the Kundapur Citizen’s Forum organized a protest against the irregular power supply to the region. The protest was held on Thursday, Mar 22.
The protestors complained that the power cuts were unscheduled in the last week and had posed several inconveniences to the people.
A memorandum was submitted to the assistance executive engineer Shanthakumar urging to take necessary step to ensure undisrupted power supply.
Kundapur Citizen’s Forum president Edwin Crasta, former T M C president Haroon Saheb, Rotary president Shantharam Prabhu, Councilors Lancy Crasta, Devaki, Vinay Pais, Jacob D’Souza, Ganesh and Suresh Battin are present.
