Mangalore, Mar 23: Another branch of St Anthony's Home for the Poor will soon be started in the Hulsur in the Muchalamba mission station of Bidar in the Gulberga diocese.  Hulsur is 32 kilometres away from Muchalamba and this mission station is being looked after by Out Lady of Miracles (Milagres) Church here.  Sister of Charles Boromeo congregation are rendering their service in the mission station and St Anthony is the patron of this mission station and Fr Joseph Rodrigues is the in-charge of Hulsur mission station.

The proposed St Anthony's Home for poor and orphan children will start in June, 2007.  All necessary works are going on in full swing in this direction. 

In this direction a statue of St Anthony was blessed and handed over to Fr Joseph by Fr Clifford D'Souza, director St Anthony's Home of the Poor at Milagres Church here on Tuesday March 20 evening.  Prior to this, Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Joseph Rodrigues.

Fr Walter D'Mello, parish priest of Milagres Church, parish council vice-president Marcel Monteiro and finance committee members were present on the occasion.
