Kundapur, Mar 23: A fisherman met watery grave after falling into sea near Gangolli estuary here on Friday March 23 afternoon.
The deceased fisherman has been identified as Sanjeev Kharvi (48), a resident of Kharvikeri near Gangolli here. He had gone fishing into the sea along with fellow fisherman on Friday. While fishing, he suddenly slipped and fell into the sea.
Though those who were in the boat tried to rescue them, they did not succeed. He was pulled into the deep waters by the raging waves. His body however, was later fished out from the sea.
The Gangolli police have registered a case in this regard.
