Mangalore, Mar 25: A group of five robbers who broke open into an advocate's house near Warehouse near Mannagudda here have decamped with gold and other valuables in the small hours of Saturday March 24.

Five men entered the house of advocate Raghava Rao around 3.30 am.  When Raghava and his wife Sandhya woke up, the robbers assaulted them.  As a result Raghava sustained minor injuries. 

The robbers tied the couple and decamped with 25 sovereigns of gold and ATM cards.  They have ransacked the entire house in search of valuables. The total value of the stolen valuables is not yet established.

Barke police have registered a case in this regard.  More details are yet awaited.
