Mumbai, Mar 26: ‘Konkani Rangabhoomi’ organized under the aegis of Konkani Bhasha Mandal was inaugurated at the Gyan Ashram auditorium in Andheri (East) here on Sunday March 25.
The programme was inaugurated by Sanatana Vedike president, Kala Jagattu Mumbai founder member and veteran actor Vijaykumar Hegde.
Dr Chandrashekar Shenoy of Konkani Triveni Kala Sangam Mumbai, renowned Goan theatre artiste Tony Martin and Konkan Theatre Group Mumbai founder and journalist Sunny A D’Souza spoke on various topics relating to Konkani theatre.
Bhasha Mandal president P N Shanbhag welcomed the gathering while honorary secretary Joy Paladka compeered. Vice-president John D’Silva proposed the vote of thanks.
