Drizzle in Delhi


New Delhi, May 11 (IANS): It drizzled in the national capital on Monday, bringing down the mercury.

The day's minimum temperature settled at 28.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.

"There were traces of rainfall recorded in some areas in the morning. The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

There is a possibility of light rain in some areas later in the day, the Met Office said.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 45 percent.

Sunday's maximum temperature soared up to 42.3 degree Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 26.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
