Elderly woman found dead at her home

New Delhi, May 15 (IANS): A 62-year-old woman was found dead at her house, police said on Friday.

The incident was reported from east Delhi's Khajoori Khas Thursday evening.

Rajjo, who is survived by her husband and son, was found strangled to death inside her house.

Police said that a neighbour raised alarm after finding Rajjo's body inside her house, whose door was ajar.

"The reason behind the murder is not clear yet. But someone close to the family might be behind the murder," said a police officer.

There was no sign of robbery, the official added.
