Suspended Delhi Police constable alleges rape at gunpoint


Gurgaon, May 17 (IANS): A suspended woman constable of Delhi Police has alleged that she was raped by a man at gunpoint here, police said on Sunday.

A case was registered at DLF-2 police station on the complaint of the 38-year-old woman.

In her complaint, the woman, a resident of Rajiv Colony here, said she was raped twice by man named Salim at gunpoint at a guest house in DLF-2 area.

The woman said: "I was raped first in 2012 and now recently at gunpoint."

Salim's four friends - Shamim, Akbar, Alisher and Karim - helped him in the crime, she told police. Salim hails from Delhi.

The accused are in the age group of 35-40 years and deal in property and transport business.

"The woman was suspended by Delhi Police. She is also facing graft charges in Delhi. We are investigating further," a senior police officer said here.
