Mangaluru, May 17: 'Arena' competition was inaugurated by Sadananda Shetty, Chairman of Shree Devi education trust at Motimahal in Mangaluru on Saturday, May 16.

Addressing the gathering Sadanada Shetty said "Many competitors have come here. If youngsters utilise their energies in these kinds of programmes, then there will not be any kind of unpleasent incidents in life. If we provide such platforms, only then talents can be identified. If sports events are not organised then cannot be opportunities. Sportspeople tend to forget the roots, when they grow up. That should not happen."

Hitesh Naik, hero of Ekka Saka tulu movie said "I would like to congradulate all the participants. I understand a lot of hard work goes into doing these short films. I wish all the participants very best and request all of you to support our movie Ekka saka."

Muhammad Arabi, the chairman of Darvesh Construction, Sonal Monteiro, heroine of Ekka Saka movie and others were present at the occasion.
