New Delhi, May 20 (IANS): It was a sunny Wednesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 22.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.
"Wednesday will be clear and the day will be humid," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 58 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 41.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 28.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
