Kundapur, Apr 5:  'Nava Kundotsava 2007' an exhibition cum sale of SHG products will be organized by Mangalore Navodaya Grama Vikasa
charitable trust on Friday April 6 at the Gandhi Maidan here.

A press release stated that the programme will be held for the benefit of self-help groups to make them aware of the importance of being
financially self-sufficient.  Nearly 50 self-help groups from all over the state are expected to participate in the exhibition cum sale.

Deputy chief minister B S Yediyurappa will inaugurate the programme. State co-operative apex bank president M N Rajendra Kumar and MLA
Haladi Sreenivas Shetty will be the chief guests on the occasion.

A procession will also be held as part of the programme from Shree Kundeshwar Temple to Gandhi Maidan. Members of self-help group will
participate in the procession. District in-charge minister V S Acharya, third State Finance Commission chairman A G Kodgi, Udupi ZP president B N Shankara Poojari and state co-operative apex bank director Shanmuka Basavaraj Gowda will be present on the occasion, the release stated.
