Mangalore, Apr 5:  One man was killed and five others injured in a collision between a lorry and Maruti Omni car in Marvoor near Bajpe on April 5 at around 5.30 pm.

The deceased has been identified as Suresh Arkady (54). Dhanush, Sabita, Pavana, Rakshita and Mamata traveling in the car were injured in this mishap and have been admitted to a private hospital.

The Omni car was plying to Kateel while the lorry was on its way to Mangalore carrying stones. Due to the impact of collision, both the vehicles went off road.
