Two killed in Bengal road accident


Kolkata, May 23 (IANS): Two people were killed and at least 30 injured on Saturday after a bus collided head-on with an oil tanker in West Bengal's West Midnapore district, police said.

The accident took place near Balibhasa in Jhargarm area of the district.

"The bus, on its way to Kolkata from Jamshedpur, collided head-on with a oil tanker.

"The tanker immediately caught fire, resulting into the death of two people. Thirty others have been hospitalised with serious injuries," a police officer said.
