Warm Monday in Delhi


New Delhi, May 25 (IANS): It was a warm Monday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.0 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.

The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 44 and 29 degrees Celsius respectively.

"The sky will remain clear on Monday. It will be another hot day in the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 34 percent.

Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 43.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
