Mangalore, Apr 10: "Roads are essential for the development of the villages. But to build and develop roads, general public and donors should cooperate with the government," said Mumbai Bunts Association vice-president Aikala Harish Shetty. He was speaking after inaugurating ZP-aided Patte Shuntipady Road, which was named after ex-ZP president Y K Sanjeev Shetty at Elinje near here on Tuesday April 10.
Aikala GP president Severine Lobo, taluk panchayat president Ranganath Shetty, ZP member Pramod Kumar, TP member Sujatha Moolya and the late Y K Sanjeeva Shetty's son Naveen Shetty were also present on the occasion.
Shankar Sanil, Sridhar Poojary, Chandrahekar, Vishwanatha Shetty, Stella D'Costa who cooperated in building the road were honoured. Sharat Shetty compered the programe.
