Kundapur, May 29: Muhammed Sahil (17), son of Abdul Rehman from Tekkatte Kannukere in the taluk, who had gone missing under mysterious circumstances on May 23, was found to be in New Delhi. This discovery was made on Thursday may 28.

Sahil, a well-behaved second PU student of SMS College Brahmavar, had left home to play cricket near his home on May 23 evening. As he did not return even after 7 pm that day, his family members searched for him but failed to find him. Their inquiries with his friends and relatives did not lead them anywhere. After a complaint was filed, three police teams were formed by district superintendent of police, K Annamalai, to investigate the case.

Even as the policemen were expanding their investigation, Sahil called his father over cell phone at 6.30 am on Thursday May 28 to inform him that he was in Nizamudding railway station in New Delhi. The family immediately got in touch with some contacts in New Delhi and made arrangements for his return home by flight, it is gathered.
