Mangalore, Apr 12: Punarpratishtha Brahamakalashotsava of Shri Ram Mandir at Bolar will begin on Thursday April 12. The temple was built in the year 1928 and it has been renovated by the temple committee at a total coast of Rs 15 lac.
B Ramesh Rao, general secretary of the committee, addressed the mediapersons and said that ‘Bimba’ of presiding deities Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman would installed under the leadership of Harikrishna Tantri of Derebail on Friday April 13.
He added that the religious rituals like 108 ‘Kalasha Brahanmakalashabhisheka’ ‘ashleshabali’ and ‘shanti homa’ will be held that day.
District minister-in-charge B Nagaraj Shetty will inaugurate the ceremony on Friday and Gurudevananda swami of hri Kshetra Odiyoor will invoke blessings. MLA N Yogish Bhat will preside over the function
Palakki utsav will be taken out from the temple to the streets of Bolar.
