Mangalore, Apr 12: Sri Adhichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Shakha Math will organise a ten-day public awareness camp at BGS High School, Kavoor here from Friday April 20 to Monday April 30.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday April 10, BGS High School headmaster Prakash P informed that the camp will be inaugurated by Nitte Education Trust chairman N Vinay Hegde at 10.30 am on April 20.
The camp will include programmes on yoga, bhajans, spiritual exercises, lectures on Tulu culture, discourses on Ramayana, Bhagavadgeeta, fine arts, human relationships, legal awareness etc.
The resource persons include Dr K Chinnappa Gowda, Erya Lakshminarayana Alva, K Anantarama Rao, Sanjeev Shetty, Dr Narasimhamurthy, Dr M Prabhakar Joshi, Bhaskar Rai Kukkavali, Vasudev Gowda and Kumble Sunder Rao.
Dharmapalanatha Swamiji of Adichunchangiri Shakha Math will bless the occasion while Karnataka Bank chairman Ananthakrishna will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
All people above the age of 14 years are invited to participate free of cost. Those interested may contact 2483300, 2484749 or 2484748 for registration on or before April 19, Prakash said.
