Government urged to hold AIPMT again

New Delhi, May 30 (IANS): The Delhi Medical Association (DMA) on Saturday urged the central government to re-conduct the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) which saw large scale irregularities, including leakage of answer keys.

The AIPMT examination was held on May 3.

"We appeal to the Indian government and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to re-conduct the AIPMT examination as soon as possible to safeguard the interests of the honest and hard working students," Alok Bhandari, DMA honorary secretary, told reporters.

Four people, including two dentists and an MBBS student, were arrested in Haryana for an alleged conspiracy to leak the AIPMT answer sheets.

The Supreme Court had also said that all those who benefited from the leak of the AIPMT question papers had not been identified and if there was a lurking doubt over the integrity of the test then it may address the plea for re-conduct of the examination.

Every one knows that Culprits will never be caught. Long back it was known about the malpractices & instead of delaying the decision Govt. should have ordered to re conduct the exam. It is question of career of all the students who have studied hard for 12 years to make dreams true & at this stage if their dreams are shattered because of some culprits it will be injustice to them & all the authorities have to be blamed for the turmoil. Without wasting any more time Govt. should re-conduct the exam in fair means taking all the precautions to stop the malpractice & give justice to the aspirants.Re-conduct the exams & that is the only solution.

AIPMT should definitely be conducted again for all 6 lakh students otherwise majority of them wouldn't be satisfied with the result and moreover it is not possible for the police to catch all the culprits involved in this racket. Re-conduction of the exam is the only solution to ensure the students of the fair means otherwise it will deprive the deserving students of getting admission through AIPMT. Guys please stand in support for re conduction of exam...

aipmt should be re conducted because it is impossible to catch all the benefited culprits in this case and cheater candidate will merit listed and get admission in college, so last final solution is re-conduct the AIPMT as earliest thg. online procedure and this is the fair decision for all hardworking intelligent students.

I agree that the culprits should be caught but the exam should be re-conducted as well.. The students who had given their best in the aipmt exam held before can perform well again but if there isn't a re-exam then the students who were involved in this racket, who were trying to get admission through this illegal step would succeed and get admission which would deprive the other students from getting the benefit of there hard work..

All those who have done well due to their good preparation will do it again. But it will not be possible for those who have done good due to malpractices. So, those who have studied well are not afraid of re exam. But allowing undeserving the benefit is against natural justice. Therefore, for the sake of justice to millions of hardworking students re exam must be conducted.

Re-conduct of AIPMT 2015 is not a proper solution. It is waste of time & money. There will be justice if the real culprits are identified and punished.

pl catch the culprits. systems should work to punish the culprit rather than punishing 6 lakhs students. if such things (re-conduct of AIPMT exam) go in culprits favour they will do again in next year.Re conduct of exam is not an economical and viable solution. If we don't catch the culprits they will be encouraged and demotivate the 6 lakhs students.
