Mangaluru: Doctor hailing from city passes away at Muscat

Mangaluru, Jun 1: Dr Salman (40), belonging to Attavar Kaprigudda in the city, passed away at Muscat on Friday May 29. He was practicing medicine at Muscat. He is survived by wife and two daughters.

He had served Yenepoya Hospital here for about five years before relocating to Muscat a couple of years back. The housewarming ceremony of the house he had newly got built at Attavar Kaprigudda had been held about six months back.

Dr Salman had undergone surgery of his inner ear on Thursday. He turned ill after the surgery, and breathed his last on Friday., it is gathered. His body was brought here by flight on Sunday.

After his body reached the city on Sunday, religious formalities relating to funeral were conducted.
