Single-line Metro operation on Central Secretariat-Mandi House section

New Delhi, June 1 (IANS): Services between the Central Secretariat and Mandi House stations would run on single line for one hour on Tuesday to facilitate inspection of the Mandi House-Income Tax Office (ITO) section, Delhi Metro official said on Monday.

Train services between the two stations, which fall on Line-6, operating from Mandi House to Badarpur stations, would run on a single line from 11 a.m. to 12.15 p.m.

"This may cause a little delay in services in this small section. In order to avoid delay during this period, passengers are advised to use the Rajiv Chowk station and Central Secretariat station as the interchange point for travelling from Line-3 (Dwarka Sector 21 - Noida City Centre)/4 (Vaishali to Yamuna Bank) to Line-6 and vice versa," a Delhi Metro advisory said.

The advisory also added that normal services on this section would resume after 12.15 p.m. The inspection would be carried out by the Commissioner Metro Rail Safety (CMRS).
