Ford India sales fall by 4.6 percent in May

Bengaluru, June 1 (IANS): Ford India sales registered a fall of 4.67 percent in May 2015 with the sale of 11,714 units in comparison to 12,288 units sold in May 2014, the company said on Monday.

The sales figure includes exports as well as domestic sales.

Domestic sales in May 2015 recorded 4,726 units compared to 6,053 units in the period a year ago while exports rose from 6,235 units in May 2014 to 6,988 units in May 2015, the company said in a release.

Ford India's domestic sales nosedived by 21.9 percent in May 2015 compared to May 2014 while exports shot up by 12 percent in May 2015 compared to the same period last year.
