Doha, April 15: The annual parish Family-Catachism day celebrated on the 13th April 2007, drew a huge crowd drawn from all communities of Qatar, amidst plenty of Food Stalls, Games stalls and other attractions. A cultural programme staged by various Catachism groups of various communities including Arrabic community, was indeed the most significant event of the evening.

A select group of children led  Sana Britto and Elrina Pinto (ref : Talents-Daijiworld) presented two outstanding musical performances which awowed the mammoth gathering and received the longest and loudest applause., especially seeing the little 7 year old  Amelita Martis playing on the keyboard.

Elrina Pinto together with Ninoushka and Nikhita were superb in their rendering of the 70s superhits of Dreams, dreams, and Oh Carol. They then performed a Masala song and dance item including Konkani songs, the best item of the day.

Congratulations to the team of organisers headed by Sofie Crasto for putting up such a wonderful function attended by more than 20000 people.Interestingly, the Mangalorean food stalls were the most popular so much so that within 2 hours almost all the various dishes were consumed
