Partly cloudy Wednesday in Delhi


New Delhi, Jun 3 (IANS): It will be a partly cloudy sky on Wednesday in the national capital with a possibility of light rain or thunderstorm, the Met Office said.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius, one notch below the seasons average.

"The minimum temperature in the morning was recorded at 23.6 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded 70 percent.

The city received 2.2 mm of rainfall on Tuesday, the IMD official said.

Tuesday's maximum temperature settled one notch below the season's average at 39.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled four notches below the season's average at 22.2 degrees Celsius.
