Mangalore, Apr 16: Vinay D’Souza (34), a resident of Panir ended his life by hanging himself on Sunday April 15.

Though exact reasons for his suicide are not yet known, sources said that he had some family problems especially with his wife.

He was a driver by profession which kept him out from his house most of the times. This had resulted in certain misunderstandings between the couple which reports said that might have led him to end his life.

Ullal police have registered a case in this regard.

Udupi: A Maruti Omni car rolled down the near Pangala Bridge on National Highway 17 early morning on Monday April 17.

Car was on his way to Suratkal from Shirur. Though 4 persons were travelling in the car, all of them escape unhurt in the accident.

No casualities have been reported in the accident. Panambur police have registered a case in this connection.
