Comic Con India to host comic book weekend

New Delhi, June 5 (IANS): Comic Con India, a comic-based convention, has announced that it would host Free Comic Book Weekend on June 6-7.

"Over 15,000 comic book fans joined the event last year. Comic Con India has plans to make this event grow bigger and better," said Comic Con India founder Jatin Varma in a media release.

Comic book publishers like Amar Chitra Katha, Campfire graphic novels, Pop Culture Publishing, Sufi Comics, Diamond Comics, Meta Desi and others will be participating in the online sale of free comic books.

The online event will be held in association with the digital platform --Readwhere. Comic enthusiasts can download the free comic books online or through a Readwhere application.
