Eight Delhi Police officers to join ACB


New Delhi, June 8 (IANS): Eight officers of the Delhi police, including one joint commissioner and seven inspectors will join the Delhi government's Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB), an official said.

"The government has decided to depute a joint commissioner and seven inspectors in Delhi government's anti-corruption branch to augment its resources in fighting corruption," Delhi Police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat told IANS.

He said more officers will be posted to the ACB in future as per requirement.

According to sources, Mukesh Kumar Meena, joint commissioner of New Delhi range, has been shortlisted for the job.
