K.V. Chowdary sworn in as new CVC


New Delhi, June 10 (IANS): K.V. Chowdary, a former head of the Central Board of Direct Taxes, was on Wednesday sworn in as the new Central Vigilance Commissioner by President Pranab Mukherjee.

Vijai Sharma, the senior most information commissioner, was also sworn in as the Chief Information Commissioner by the president.

Both Chowdary and Sharma took the oath of office in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
