Mangalore, Apr 21: District Adi Dravid Samaja Seva Sangha will be hosting its first district convention at Nehru Maidan on Sunday April 22.
This was announced in a press meet here on Friday April 20. Nearly 20,000 delegates are expected to participate in the convention. Union minister of social justice Meera Kumar will inaugurate the convention.
Chief minister H D Kumarawamy, deputy chief minister B S Yediyurappa, Administrative Reforms Commission chairman M Veerappa Moily will be the chief guests on the occasion.
Convention will be blessed by Shree Basavalingamurthy Swamiji of Murugharajendra Mahalingeshwara Math, Mysore. The convention will be preceded by a seminar which will be held at the NGO Hall. A discussion will be held on ‘Social Status of Adi Dravida community’ will be held during the seminar.
