AAP upset with Tomar, may expel him over fake degree charges

New Delhi, Jun 12 (Agencies): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party members are upset with AAP leader and former Delhi Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar over the fake degree row in which he is caught and are mulling expelling him from the party.

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal is disappointed with Tomar as he had convinced him about the authenticity of his degree by showing a fake RTI report, as per media reports.

Jitender Singh Tomar was taken into custody by the Delhi Police on Tuesday after an FIR was filed against him for allegedly possessing fake degrees.

After arresting Tomar from his house, the Delhi Police took him to Faizabad district in Uttar Pradesh.

On Wednesday, Tomar was taken to K S Saket PG College in the Faizabad district, where he claims to have studied, and was asked to show the classrooms and labs.

But, the former Delhi Law Minister failed to recognize the classrooms and labs. Even the lectures at the college and Tomar's alleged batchmates failed to recognize him.

Jitender Singh Tomar has been charged with IPC section 467 for forgery, section 468 for forgery with purpose of cheating and section 120 (B) for criminal conspiracy.

    Dear Mr Santhosh,
No wonder AAP has few ministers, thanks to the opposition for finding out fault and dismissing them, but mind you there are thousands waiting outside and for free. Now RTI is not a independent body it is controlled by the central government and will do whatever they asks them to do. About Bhushan and Yadav they asked for it by hatching conspiracy against the party so serves them right. AAP is doing the right thing by registering cases like these in the court and let the court decide as they had done in Tomar's case before this episode they had already registered the case in the court but for some reason BJP was in hurry to make big head lines for the public. AAP doesn't have to respond to each and every allegations and complaints by the opposition parties for thier vested interest nor does it hide or support the person if found guilty, in fact AAP welcomes and invites feed back about its members through various sources. So, if anyone has anything againgst the party or its members let them file a court case instead of making big publicity through media if they want justice as thier main aim of public campaign is to garner votes. Now, the question is how many other political parties are knowingly harbouring and supporting members of thier party who have committed unimaginable greater crimes than these. But wait it will happen and you will witness it. People of Delhi don't regret a bit they have full confidence on AAP and it will be proved once again when they go for third election polls.

If he has lied about his degree, expel him without any mercy. All other political parties will have to take the same correction rod and expel them. Breach of trust and lying affidavit are very serious and dangerous crimes. If these polished criminals are ruling us, how we can expect any good Government?

AAP is doing a good job. This is a fine example how AAP is operating. AAP can not investigate each and everyone in its cabinet about their past history but they do a initial formal screening of its members with the condition that they will face strict legal consequences if found guilty and the same thing is happening with Tomar. This is not the beginning or end this sort of episode will continue to be there as the party moves along and it's not the end or black mark on AAP. The good thing about AAP is they will not hide or shelter anyone found guilty unlike BJP, Congress or any other party. AAP has the will and honesty to do the right thing. Keep your good work going AAP, we are with you, we won't abandon you just because you are the news. Jai Hind, Jai AAP.

    Dear Mie

I dont understand when you say AAP cannot screen the credentials of " All "its ministers. They hardly have a few ministers, how difficult would be for them to do that? Kejriwal knows he has messed up Delhi, so he is now expelling Tomar.Infact he new from day 1 that the degree is fake. RTI query had said that his certificate was fake a few weeks back. AAP which claims to be the mosy honest party in the world should have taken action then, and not now when the truth has come out. Now look at Somnath Bharthi, hi wife has complained about domestic violence against her. She said that he beat her up and even unleashed dogs on her when she was pregnant. Why did Kejriwal not take actio. We all know that Somnath Bharti is also a renowned spammer. Kejriwal is a mean and selfish guy with a high ego. He threw out Prashanth Bhushan and Yogendra yadav for pointing out the same thing as to why people like Somnath, and Tomar have got ministerial positions.
Keep supporting him, for as long as you want , but let be warn you once day you will be disappointed just like the people of Delhi are now.

Better late than never. At least AAP is taking action. But if you see BJP and Congress, they are soft on criminals and corrupt. This is the difference between AAP and other national parties. That is the reason Delhi people gave thumping majority to AAP and showed door to Congress and BJP...

Her acting gift will not work out with the degree acting so would be caught up one day very soon.

The BJP Government's arrest of the AAP Minister would be backfiring in big speed, the "karma" come back effect. The modern computers are installed in the divine judgment seat for fast actions.
