Mangalore, Apr 24: A one-day workshop on ‘Integrated Coastal Zone Management Plan’ (ICZMP-2007) at NITK, Suratkal here will be inaugurated on Thursday April 26.

Department of Applied Mechanics and Hydraulics and department of Chemical Engineering will be organizing the seminar. Deputy commissioners of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district M Maheshwar Rao and C Ponnaraj respectively will be the chief guests on the occasion.

The valedictory function, NMPT chairman P Tamilvanan will be the chief gust. NITK while director Dr Sandeep Sancheti will preside.
