Mangalore, Apr 24: BJP national leader L K Advani visited Udupi and DK district on Tuesday, April 24.

Speaking at the ‘Karnataka Vikas Yatra’ organized by BJP at Udupi, Advani said that the BJP will protest strongly if the Central government decides to give autonomy to the Jammu and Kashmir government.

The former deputy prime minister said that it would be the political suicide by the Central government if autonomy is given to Jammu and Kashmir government. “I would request not to give autonomy to the state,” he said.

Stating that the Narendra Modi government at Gujarat is ideal for the entire nation, he also said that Rajiv Gandhi Vikas Institute also appreciated this government.

Deputy chief minister B S Yediyurappa, ministers Dr V S Acharya, Nagaraj Shetty, D H Shankarmurthy, R Ashok, C M Udasi, Katta Subrahmanya Naidu, Shivananda Naika, Appu Pattanna Shetty, MLAs Raghupati Bhat, Lalaji R Mendon, Sunil Kumar, Haladi Srinivas Shetty, N Yogish Bhat, J Krishna Palemar, Prabhakar Bangera, Padmanabha Kottari and others were present on the occasion.

Earlier Advani visited Mangalore and took rest at the Circuit House.

Speaking with media persons he said that, BJP is confident of emerging as a single largest party in UP assembly election.
