Delhi CM meets Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, June 15 (IANS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday met union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed issues and concerns of the Delhi government, official sources said.

Kejriwal and Sisodia met Rajnath for an hour and discussed the issues the Delhi government may be facing, a home ministry official told IANS.

The meeting came in the backdrop of the ongoing tussle between Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung and the Kejriwal government over transfer and postings of bureaucrats.

During the meeting, Kejriwal urged Rajnath Singh to intervene and ensure that all issues were resolved amicably.

"The home minister, who gave them a patient hearing, assured full cooperation from the central government," the official said.
