Margao, Apr 26: The Inter group of the Alcoholic Anonymous (AA) would be celebrating the golden jubilee the AA in India, in the Infant Jesus Church Hall, Colva, on April 29 between 9 am to 5 pm.
This inter group throughout the year works to give a helping hand to those who willing to come out of alcoholism.
During this celebration, AA members will guide people through their awareness programme.
The Additional District judge (North) Desmond D'Costa will be the chief guest of the function.
State AA chairman Joseph S disclosed that the AA first came to India on may 5, 1957. Several such functions to commemorate the occasion are being held by AA groups across India.
A similar programme will be held in Manglore on May 6, 2007, sources said.
