'Yogathon' attracts over 10,000 people in Delhi-NCR

New Delhi, June 19 (IANS): The national capital witnessed over 10,000 people participating in ‘Yogathon’, a fitness movement organised by Fitmein.in, an online platform on health and fitness.

The fitness movement was launched here on Friday and will continue till June 21, the International Yoga Day.

“We are proud to be part of this fitness movement here in the national capital. As a part of the ‘Yogathon', people of all age groups will get a three-day free and easy access to all the yoga classes held by expert trainers in over 100 fitness studios and gyms across Delhi-NCR,” Nidhisha Varshney, co-founder and CEO, Fitmein.in, said in a statement.

In the three-day event, people will get to explore different types of yoga like Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, Aerial yoga and Power yoga.

“While many practice yoga for peace of mind and meditation, there are several others who do it to stay fit, build greater flexibility and strength. We believe such events will inspire more and more people to join the fitness bandwagon," said Varshney.
