Udupi, May 2: Bajrang Dal district convener Madhukar Mudradi has condemned Congress leader’s comments about Go Sammelan and has urged that the latter should seek pardon from Shree Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji.
In a press release Madhukar Mudradi stated that A K Subbaiah lacked common sense. "His statement that cattle slaughter should not be banned shows what he is. He cannot compare tiger with human beings. Tiger would die if it does not eat deer. But human being will not die if they avoid beef. I once again assert that cattle slaughter must be banned in our country with immediate effect," he said.
He also urged that A K Subbaiah should ask pardon from Shree Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji of Shree Ramchandrapur Math for criticizing him for organizing Go Sammelan. "How come A K Subbaiah know that value of Go Sammelan? He is bothered about his political interests and nothing else," he added.
He also condemned Chikamagalur district administration's decision to stop Hindus from performing rituals at Datta Peetha on Tuesday May 1.
