Emirates flight makes emergency landing in Colombo


Colombo, June 26 (IANS): An A-380 passenger plane of Emirates airline with over 500 people on board made an emergency landing at the Bandaranaike International Airport here on Friday due to a technical fault.

An airport spokesman said the flight was flying from Sydney to Dubai when it landed in Colombo at 3.45 a.m., Xinhua reported. The airline said it was addressing the technical fault.
