World is keen to know more about India: Modi

New Delhi, June 28 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the world was keen to know more about India and its traditions and culture.

"The world is keen to know more about India, our values, our traditions, our culture," Modi said in the ninth edition of his 'Mann ki Baat' radio address.

Speaking about the success of the first International Yoga Day on June 21, Modi appreciated the armed forces for joining the programme and their efforts to make the day a success.

"On June 21 when I saw glimpses of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon doing yoga at the UN headquarter, I felt very happy," he said.
