Three killed in US plane crash


Washington, June 29 (IANS): Three people were killed when a plane crashed into a house in Massachusetts state, US, the media reported on Monday.

The plane carrying three passengers crashed into a home in Plainville town on Sunday, setting the house on fire, reported CNN.

"The house immediately caught fire after the crash. The four occupants got out of the building before it became fully engulfed in flames," state police said.

The victims have not been identified yet.

The aircraft departed from Lancaster airport in Pennsylvania and was headed to Norwood Memorial Airport, around 30 km from the crash site.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
