Oxigen to sponsor South African T20 team

New Delhi, June 29 (IANS): Indian payment solutions provider Oxigen will sponsor the South African Twenty20 cricket team when they take the field against Bangladesh on July 5.

South Africa will feature in 12 Twenty20 Internationals against Bangladesh, New Zealand, India, England and Australia before next year’s World T20 that will be held in India.

"The Proteas are a globally recognised brand with huge support in India. This exciting initiative is a first for Cricket South Africa (CSA) as having an international based company as the team sponsor is a pioneering step," CSA Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat said in a statement on Monday.
