Panaji, May 8: The Walt Disney Company organized a heart-stirring special programme 'Make a Wish' for special children at the Goa Medical College Auditorium at Bambolim.

The Special Children

The Walt Disney Company's magical fantasy Character 'Genie' made its appearance and cheered the children afflicted by life-threatening illnesses.

The children were asked to make some wishes and their unfulfilled wishes were realized at the hands of Genie and Padma Shri Remo Fernandes and dean of Goa Medical College Dr Jindal.

The programme was organized by Walt Disney Company (India) Private Limited for Make-A-Wish Foundation of India. The event was organized as part of its celebrations on completing 11 years in fulfilling wishes of the suffering children in India.

The Foundation is working towards fulfilling the unmet wishes of a child who is suffering from life-threatening illness and disease and provide him/her with hope and strength to fight the disease.
