Five die in South Korea factory blast


Seoul, Jul 3 (IANS): Five workers were killed when an explosion took place near a chemical factory's wastewater disposal facility in South Korea on Friday.

The explosion occurred at a plant belonging to South Korean conglomerate Hanwha Group, reported Xinhua citing Yonhap News Agency.

Officials said residual gas might have caused the explosion while the workers were engaged in welding.
