Three soldiers killed in Pakistan blast


Islamabad, July 5 (IANS): At least three soldiers were killed and six injured when a bomb hit their vehicle in North Waziristan in Pakistan on Sunday, a media report said.

Unidentified militants blew up a roadside bomb by remote control as the vehicle passed by it in Datta Khel area, a restive tribal area along the Afghanistan border, Xinhua reported.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Pakistan Army is carrying out an offensive against the Taliban in the region.
