Cable operators meet Delhi CM

New Delhi, July 6 (IANS): A delegation of Cable Operator's Welfare Federation (COWF) on Monday met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and briefed him about the problems they were facing.

The COWF raised issues like portability of set-top boxes to enable the consumer to switch from one network to another and hike in entertainment tax from Rs.20 to Rs.40 per connection, according to a statement.

Supporting the need for portability in set-top boxes, the chief minister assured them that he would see how it could be done and the government would extend all possible help in this regard.

The delegation requested Kejriwal to review the hike in the entertainment tax.
