Mangalore, May 11: “Quran is the holy book which is not only meant for Muslims; but for all”, said Dr Shuaib Sayyad of Islamic Research Centre, Mumbai.
He was speaking at a programme ‘Quran’, organized by Islamic Guidance Centre at Town Hall here on Friday May 11.
“The Quran is the last book gifted by God for mankind and this book is for the entire human era. There are allegations that Quran is copied from Bible and written by Mohammad himself, but these allegations are not true”, he said.
No doubt, Quran is the message of God. By reading Quran, one can directly speak with God, Dr Sayyed added.
Rafiq, Imam of Bajpe Firdous Masjid, Mohammad Ali, president of Islamic Guidance Centre and Hamdan Sayyed, son of Dr Sayyed, were present on the dais.
Maulana Thoufiq of Udupi Islamic Dawa Centre welcomed the gathering. Ashraf proposed the vote of thanks. A K Ashraf compered the programme.
