Karbonn launches new smartphone

Bangalore, July 8 (IANS): Karbonn Mobiles, a domestic handset manufacturer, on Wednesday launched a new smartphone named Aura at a price of Rs.4,990.

The smartphone has a 5-inch IPS LCD display and will be powered with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It will also feature a 512 MB RAM unit and 8GB of internal storage expandable to 32GB.

Aura, which comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, will run on Android 4.4 KitKat. The device will run on a 2,000 mAH battery.

Karbonn has a presence across India with over 85,000 retail partners and 900 plus service centres.

Internationally, Karbonn is present in 40 countries across Africa, South and Southeast Asia, CIS, Eastern Europe and West Asia.
