TUV Rheinland launches ICT, business solutions division in India


Bengaluru, July 8 (IANS): German IT security, testing, training, inspection, consulting and certification company TUV Rheinland on Wednesday announced the launch of its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Business Solutions division in India.

"For our customers in the Indian market, this is an important signal as they will benefit from the concentration of our national and international ICT competences and experience," said TUV Rheinland India CEO and MD Thomas Fuhrmann in a statement.

TUV Rheinland offers telecommunications consulting and IT security for major industries.

Globally, TUV Rheinland also offers expertise and consulting in all areas of information security ranging from strategy, planning, process optimization, implementing and certifications, the statement added.

The company said that its current most requested services are defence against complex cyber attacks using Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and cloud advisory services, cloud security, IT governance and risk management, the statement said.

In India, TUV Rheinland is based in Bengaluru and is operating since 1996 and offering services in more than 100 locations in India.
