BSF trooper killed in Pakistani firing on LoC


Srinagar, July 9 (IANS): A BSF trooper was killed on Thursday in Pakistani firing on the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, officials said.

Border Security Force trooper Kishen Kumar of the 119 battalion was killed in Nowgam sector, BSF sources told IANS.

Earlier this week, another trooper of the same battalion was killed in a similar ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in the same sector.
