Modi, Sharif exchange pleasantries at Ufa dinner

Ufa (Russia), Jul 10 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi exchanged pleasantries with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif during an informal dinner at the BRICS-SCO venue here on Thursday night, ahead of their formal meeting on Friday morning.

Modi and Sharif greeted each other and exchanged pleasantries at the dinner hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin here for BRICS and SCO members.

The meeting of the two leaders comes hours ahead of their formal bilateral meeting on Friday morning on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit.
